Don't know yet. I gotta pull the inspection cover, but Im gonna head out and check it in a little. Im almost positive it is the flex plate. I had a mystery engine knock I couldn't find, no chunks in the oil, no chunks in the tranny fluid. Im just nervous because I have never done anything in that area of the jeep before. I know I need a torque wrench... suggestions?

Just tighten until you can get your hands on a torque wrench...

 

Jakbob I can cruise by tomorrow afternoon and laugh at ya for a bit if you'd like ..

 

Auto transmissions are full of voodoo and black magic.. don't you know that?

 

That's why I don't touch them, bad things happen when I do

I think I need all the help I can get lol I've already priced a flex plate, flywheel, and torque converter. Im gonna pull the drain pan tomorrow. Sheesh. I doubt that there is that much damage. As soon as I heard the noise, only drove another 20 feet to a parking space.

 

Gotta send me the procedure, I knew I was missing something
