Hey audio guys, I'm looking for advice.

I mentioned stereo equipment before, but I'd like to start getting a list together. It's gonna be my next project after she gets a makeover. I have two door speakers and two speakers in the B-pillars behind the bench (I think they're all 5.25"), and I want to add a new head unit and at least one sub behind the bench. What would you do?
I'll be saving up for the parts cause I only want to do it once, so it won't be too tight of a budget (I'll throw out $500 as a preliminary guess). I listen to all kinds of music with the extremes being country and dubstep (extremely bass-heavy). I want a good sounding system that comes through clearly, and I want it to sound good when I crank it (subs included).
I'm very open to any recommendations for head units, speakers, amps, subs, high- and low- pass filters, and whatever else I may need.

Made some shackle relocation brackets today. I'll get some pics up of before and after in a minute.

Stupid phone grabbed multiple attachments, working on fixing it right now. And that would be Chuck Norris, the cat, in the tree
