the below link (that i'll get to after my life story) talks about honeymoons (and i don't agree w/ it 100%...ours was cool despite the regular inconveniences of air travel)...but he makes good points.

this past monday the mrs. and i both took vacation days making for ourselves one of those coveted long weekends. we did nothing friday nite...lil packing. sat, camped out in eastern md :hat tip: you displaced southerners at heart. got home before noon on sun and did very little until this morning. had a kickass day at work today and am feeling totally recharged all because of our mostly uneventful "staycation".

Default to be certain "it happened"...

on the surface this camp looks weaksauce...paved roads, tent large enough to almost stand up in, picnic table, etc. i mostly prefer back country (better stars, true nature, etc.) but, let's be real...state park camping is a lot less stress than hoofing 20 lbs of gear over 20 miles of tree roots and rocks and constantly worrying about slacker bears that want your granola bars.

the view from the boat launch was nice so view it right now!

and the obligatory jeep pic. (with boat). which is nothing to brag about. some put around 2 grand under their jeep, esp if you count tires....arghhh!, i pull roughly 2 grand behind mine. different strokes.
