Thoughts on what this is. I don't think its an mj because you cant see where the bed and cab separate. Nor do the doors seem long enough to be a two door xj. So is it a very well done 4 door xj?

I think it's a shortbed MJ. Look at the plastic piece behind the doors. He may have mated the cab and bed for more strength? Plus where the top of the unibody in the rear?

I'm gonna go with a 97+ XJ chopped. Look at the interior of the dash.

You're right about it being an XJ. The bed is removable on an MJ, so there is a gap between it and the cap. This clearly doesn't have that gap. It also doesn't have a fuel door patch in front of the left rear wheel well, and the cut in the rear corner is just about where the front of the gas door would be on an XJ.

Also, it's a FSJ truck tailgate. I'm guessing 4dr XJ with the rear of an MJ cab modded in behind the doors. Wouldn't be the first one I've seen, but that's well done. Easiest way to tell for sure would be to look underneath or in the cab, but I doubt we have such a convenient picture.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I've been searching for a build or other pics, but no luck.
