sure NOW we get some snow...now that i have my front driveshaft out and torn apart waiting for the new centering ball and ujoints...

And stupid federal holiday means they won't be delivered today

You should take apart your jeep more often. I like snow.

No dry rot. Stored indoors and treated. Just in case I decided to get them road force balanced and tested at 1200lbs force per tire to check rubber and belts.

I like snow too

Good thing is the MTZs are good in snow, although i'd rather have 4 of them turning if i needed to

Getting them road forced balanced now. I had to call around and find a shop that could not only road force balance but would let me watch it being done to ensure it was done right. Last time I got tires balanced they didn't line the harmonic high point on tire with low point on wheel so now I have them spin the wheel first so we can identify where the dot on the tire gets mounted on the rim.

The low point on an aluminum rim is usually the valve stem area but I've seen it be quite a few inches off. Steel rims at least usually have the dimple to mark the low spot.

UPS and Fed Ex will be running , just USPS will be off.
Brown don't shut down for this holiday (at least the didn't when I worked for them)
