Yeah, I had some ****head following me on a twisty two-lane road with fresh powder on the asphalt when I was driving home from work this morning. He was tailgating me so bad I couldn't even see his headlights.

I sped up a bit to see if I could get away from him, and he backed way off and slowed down when he almost went sideways in a curve.

yea, we had a light coating the other night and people wanted to still drive fast. I dread the first real snowfall of the season cause me and my wife are good drivers but seriously, peoples false sense of "automatic" 4wd makes them think they can drive through hell itself.

Missing a day by "accident" is not possible in the Army. Even "calling in sick" isn't an option because you have to go to sick call to get a doctor's note so you might as well as just suck it up and go into work unless it's really bad.

And due to rank, I can't ever be right at work. They can do whatever they want; I'm always wrong. It's pitifully sorry how important they think themselves.
.

Rank has it's benefits but your NCOIC should put up a schedule 90 days in advance and stick with it.

There have been 245 suicide's in the military this year to date and there were 349 last year.

i hate those people, but getting sideways can be fun....if controlled, and no one else is around.

yes. people either drive way too fast than they should, or go wayyy too slow. I won't complain about the slow people in this weather though because it's completely safer.

Brian I was just making a bad joke. The way he describes it to me it sounds horrible. I say again, I tip my hat to you guys and everyone in the military. Thank you for your service.

No offense was taken at all. I was just being informative because I had the numbers handy.

Yes it is considering all of the help that is out there for service members. I'm volunteering with the Wounded Warriors from OIF/OEF at the VA right now as they transition out of the service and the number of depressed veterans is overwhelming.

We don't even have a December schedule draft. I don't even know if I'll be working nights, days, or on the travel team starting Sunday.
