well i tacked it together with my little 110 mig but with the steel being 1/4 the 220 arc at work was a better choice

Turn your heat up all the way and use a slower then recommended wire speed and adjust your stick out to about even with the gas nozzle. I have welded structural 1/4 plate to frame rails with my 110 Hobart.

1/4" CAN be welded with a buzzbox, but metal has to be clean and wirefeed/heat just right. Multiple passes are a MUST on any load bearing joints...

somehow I dont think grotesque will ever be written in children's books lol I used to write columns in college, got lots of practice with adjectives.

i've been up there, but we had the fiance's Acura - not so good for ground clearance. It's pretty sweet up there, but you def need someone with you that knows where the trails are though.

Will be checking out Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area sometime next month. Rumor is that they are opening next year for business...
Will try and get my buddy to get me through Centralia...
