Give someone a guide plan and don't be dumb.

Why?
Is this Barney's engine or the newest one?

That's ridiculous for a father to say to his child. Unfortunately we don't choose our parents.

He's just mad about all my jeep bull**** and what not. I had big shoes to fill and I just couldn't do it. Half the reason I choose to get so into cars was because that's what he did as a kid. Regardless he never knew his real dad. He's always been hard on me and we've never had a good relationship. Not going to sit here and whine how daddy doesn't love me. It is what is.

You are young and I don't mean this in a bad way but you will figure out [as I did...Capt in the Navy for 32 yrs, 4 careers, yada yada yada with my dad] that YOUR shoes are really the only ones you need to fill.

Just be true to yourself and figure out what makes you content and the rest will eventually be chaff on the threshing floor.

Save that medal for grandiose miltary posturing. I am the originator of that joke.

You know me. If I don't report back Sunday, then I got eaten by a bear.

depending upon where you are, Id say more likely a copperhead or water mock than a bear. Besides we only have black bears in MD and they are cuddly. 10-1 says you are walking in a jeep trance planning the next attack on your rig and you fall in a rabbit hole and twist your ankle
