Morning folks.
Need some help.
I searched through the tech section, (and may be adding/cross-posting there), looking for some idea on how to fix this wobbly tilt column and steering wheel.
Lemme see if I can explain this...
1). The steering wheel is firmly bolted to the column. BUT, if I hold onto the column, and move the wheel itself, the steering wheel moves laterally within the column itself.
2). Where the column is divided for the tilt mechanism, the two separate sections of the column move independently of each other.
Now the tilt column works, the steering wheel works, vehicle steers and drives fine. I'm trying to tighten everything up. Not much help on YouTube as far as removing the wheel and fixing things up.
Any ideas as far as previous write-ups, etc?
TIA.
