Anyone running an iron rock offroad truss? I'm wondering of that will solve my bump stomp problem.

It WOULD raise them 2.5" and you could drill holes to ADD more if needed. I like it, and the cost is good.

Also, a 1" square tube piece can be used for BumpStop Extensions. I have some little pieces of plate for this as well.

My thought was more like this:
I think I like that.

Pudgy....decide what you want before Friday. IF you want what I illustrated, you need to score spring plates....or some steel, so we can make a plate that inserts over the spring plate.

If you just want bumstop EXTENSIONS (1x1 square tube)...I can make those with materials on hand.

I'm thinking of replacing the coil pack, getting an oil change, and adding Lucas to see what happens.I just don't want to spend money on one thing and then it be something else. Nobody has done anything but lifted the hood and listened to the noise. You can hear it when you start and when you give it gas, it gets even louder. My daughter is going to record the noise for me to post.
I'll be posting the video soon, but I checked the antifreeze and it's empty. It was just filled about 2 weeks ago. I'm not able to check the plugs, but I think it's narrowed down to blown head, gasket,and/or bearings. Once I post the video I'm hoping that somebody can tell me something.

I think I am going to stay away from the extensions. I like the spring plate idea better. I have my stock u-bolts so I'm going to order new ones and try and get some new spring plates. Is that all I need?

I got 5 brand new KM2s 31x10.5x15 in today that I don't think the person I ordered them for is going to buy them. If anyone is interested they are $229/tire. That's the installed price.

Tell me what you need man - I have a set of plates i can send you to weld the new plate to - that way i can just bolt them on - doesn't even need to be on top of the existing plates that way - just weld the new plate to the side like in the photo i posted, then bolt them up to the springs.

ohhhh crap. Yea that definitely sounds like a cracked head now since you mentioned the antifreeze issue. Your year had a bad issue with that.

You said it happened recently? How much driving have you done with it like that? How much antifreeze did you need to add before?

I'll still come by and check it out one night this week.

Cool. I am depositing a check today. If you let me know how much I'll pay you for those and the disconnects as soon as it clears.
