Don't help her, Mike. Remember...no more going out of your way to help anyone
Wish I had some input, but I dunno about your steering.
I went to my friend's dad's house for a superbowl party, I took him back to his dorm late. There's a small driveway at the college for pick-up/drop-off, and they have a line of large rocks blocking it off from the pedestrian walkways. I took that as a challenge, but someone called the cops. I got a warning for trespassing, defacing property, and driving on an expired license. No ticket

And no this is all I need to fix to pass.. I have no idea what to do. We put a stock drag link up to it and its too short.

Everything was torqued to spec except the ubolts. They had loosened quite a bit. I was also able to fix my transfer case leak, it was a bad speedo o-ring.
Next on my list is to replace my valve cover gasket with the rubber/metal style gasket and to find a used or cheap 32 tooth speedo gear.

A stock drag link wont work. You have an over the knuckle steering setup ( at least part of it). Its an aftermarket setup, that's why the auto parts store couldn't figure it out. Call josh @ iron rock offroad and email him those pics. He should be able to hook u up with the parts u need. Also, take your stabilizer off for inspection, its mounted wrong. With what u have now it will never pass, and u have no way of adjusting toe
None of it is actually installed OTK though. Should be able to throw on a stock tie-rod and drag link to get through inspection. But would have to do both. Or invest in new aftermarket steering.
Where that drag link connects is hosed up, and I believe it is homemade. No Aftermarket company I know would put it that close to center.
Also, the drag link and track bar are pretty far out of parallel...that thing must have bumpsteer like a *****.

I'm looking at the pics on my phone, can't tell if that bracket is bolted or welded. If it was welded I agree, its trash
