Think about it....you got a Jeep....you lifted it...even argued with him about how much....then went and got it so stuck you had to leave it, then wrecked it on the way home.

He got you another Jeep....

You are one Lucky SOB you are not my kid....you would not be able to drive the new one...lol....

I mean he should let you at least keep one for a project XJ and just DD the ZJ.

 

Thats ok. My dad is yelling at me in front of all his employees and Katie saying that he has to go and spend $300 on parts to fix this and all sorts of bull ****. Then he told me i need to be up on time saturday an sunday to fix it. Which is bull**** since hes the one that sleeps in and puts me on the back burner. Some days i hate him.

 

Then sell him on the idea of keeping ONE of the XJ's as a college project. Not to be taken on the road....it can be unplated, and undriven, but will satisfy your need to tinker and build something.

Then....by the time college is over...BAM!

 

3 hours total to fix it if you have the parts....

Dropping it and putting a new one in? Doesnt the cross member have to be dropped? And special tools or things i will need?

What about when the crossmember bolts break?

 

Got Thomas pulled back to Cordelia's...only 4.5 hrs left in the day, no one else break down! lol

 

Start with the PB blaster now....when you go to remove them....use steady slow pressure....do not rapidly break them loose.

If they break....drill and tap a new hole. If you are slow and patient, you could get very lucky.
