Dude, you have a blank canvas. First focus on mateniance, then fun stuff. It takes time.

 

I didn't want to lift it from the get go, but in needs a different rear axle and new leaf springs this is the cheapest and best way to do it. My parents don't get that, I wish I just would have fixed Barney.

It doesn't need a new rear axle, you want one. It doesn't need new leaves, you want them.

 

So I'll just have my gear ratio at 3:07 and 3:55? Yes I want to replace 8.25 with a Dana 35 I absolutely want to....

 

well aaron, you can do what you need to, to get it on the road, change things for the better later on. just put a front axle on there that works, and just don't have a front driveshaft on it until the ratios match. get kool-aid on the road first.

 

Do what it takes to make it road worthy. Thats it.
