For the trip home, I'll be taking one 33" wheel/tire, four 15x10 wheels, and picking up four 33x12.5x15 tires on the way there. Plus luggage and food. I'm considering the best way to organize, and I'm wondering the simple way to tie-down a 33 straight to the roof. I don't have a rack, but I've seen people do it. I'm just not sure where they run the ratchet straps.

That's what I was thinking, but I'd heard before that you aren't supposed to tie to those. Seemed like strange advice to me. Thanks.
