I am having issue with my passenger door just flying when someone opens it. The little metal bar that keeps it from doing that is missing. Will one from a '99 work on my '95?

Sold the warthog yesterday so no bs wheeling for me saturday...bittersweet. so no parting it out, sorry. hes picking it up saturday. Its going to a good home though, the guy already has a built nice xj and a rubicon but he wanted another just to beat up on his 100 acre ranch in Va...
