I found a temporary source of income, allowing me to look for employment outside of one little area, and ALSO allowing me to start saving for the reborning of my baby Anya. My money source runs until the end of january, and then it's tax return time, and THAT will get her back on the road. VICTORY SHALL BE MINE, BWAHAHAHA ^_^

I have Historic tags on mine while I"m working on it and I was told by a cop friend of mine that I can drive it when LEGALLY friday starting at 1800(6 PM) thru Sunday at 2359 (11:59) or when taking it to the shop or other speical occasions. Then he told me off the record that as long as I dont do it regularly they dont care but the will use it as an excuse to pull you over if they have a question or need a better look at something. But all in all just be smart about it and it should be fine.
As for the Insurance I have state farm and am only paying $86 for 6 months with historic plates when I get the daily use plates it will be about $268 for 6 months now I do have it listed as a second car.

I resemble that fact

I have driven more vehicles with historic tags than I have had inspected and tagged. I have NEVER been pulled over with historic tags.
And what's wrong with Sun (bright) Yellow?!?

EDIT: when I do get around to putting the longarms on the XJ, will have that switched over to Street Rod Tags

It takes awhile to start. Sometimes when you try and start it, it makes a sound similar to when you try and start the engine when it is already on, I used to get 17-18 mpg. It went down to 15-16 before I put the 31s on. It right between 13-14 right now. It idles rough. That's about all I can think of at the moment. I was told I have a leak in the engine manifold that causes some of the rough idling.
a good tune up with fresh stuff under the hood is a good way to spend $100 and know that those parts are good/not causing your problems.

Street Rod:
- To qualify as a street rod, your vehicle must be 25 years old or older and must have been substantially altered from the manufacturer's original design.
- Vehicles classified as street rod certifies the vehicle will be maintained for use in exhibitions, club activities, parades, tours, occasional transportation and similar uses. The vehicle owner further certifies the vehicle will not be used for general daily transportation or primarily for the transportation of passengers or property on highways. You will need to fill out the Application for Historic or Street Rod Registration (form # VR-096).

Not worried bout standing out, popo gotta catch me first
