My Cherokee didn't come with a tow pack. I'm planning on using a car dolly and towing home another xj its about 30 miles with some hills, should I attempt?

what class hitch? Tranny cooler? How are your brakes?

Another XJ is a BIG load for an XJ to pull/control. Uhaul won't even rent you a dolly to tow an XJ behind an XJ - just an FYI.

I would advise to not use your XJ as the tow rig. Find a big vehicle with a v8 and good brakes.
