TBI and TPI are intake/fuel injection setups. and make sure you do a proper break in on that motor prior to driving it all the way back. I also recommend to use a conventional oil for atleast the first 1k miles. Synthetic is too slippery and wont allow the rings to seat and wear in properly. That is experience talking

Last time I was home, my dad said he was gonna park his Avalanche on my Camaro. I told him I'd park my XJ on his Avalanche.

So if I come in for tires and make a big scene I get free tires? Hmmm...
You can if you already bought them from us. I gave 4 new tires to a guy who purchased them a week prior. Some one slashed tires on his two vehicles. Obviously not a road hazard. But he spent another $1500 on tires for his BMW.

It sucks but his house his rules. There will come a day when you will realize you were as dumb as he thought. Lol. I highly respect my step dad now but when I was your age I was dumb and disrespectful. Can't take that stuff back. Be patient. I'm sure if you say down with him with a plan and asked for advice he would let you know where you stand.
