Taphouse is a very nice place, my buddy is goin there this friday for his 21st.

Anyone know how hard it is to drop the transmission? and would I have to remove the motor to do so? What all should I be lookin for...time wise, tools, while it's out?? May be having a long night tonight if i can figure this out

no need to remove the motor. disco the rear shaft, remove the TC and crossmember, remove the bolts at the bellhousing (including the two reverse torx ones at the top - size E12?), disconnect the cooler lines and wiring, disconnect the linkages, and pull it backwards away from the engine. You WILL need 2 people and a transmission jack to help maneuver it.

no but it's pretty self explanatory. I forgot but you'll also need to remove the starter and exhaust, you could prob leave the TC connected to the tranny though
