sounds like a massive wiring headache. 99-01s require a bypass module too to make the truck think there's a key in the ignition.

Best Buy installs them though...and they fix it if it breaks/doesn't work

I hear ya, Mike. Just got off my third consecutive night shift this morning, and i start three day shifts at 6am. All six shifts are 12 hours

I have a gas tank skid I pulled off a ZJ. Classic and I already cut off the lip, so it's XJ-ready. I don't plan on putting it on any time soon, though, so if someone local wants it for $50, we can work something out.

I thought only the ones with the gray key needed a bypass? I've got a 99 with a keyless entry remote but the key is black. Are you sure that I still need the bypass?

nope never mind - didn't know for sure what you had

Hey guys, just replaced my inner steering box plate. If you wheel I'd suggest doing it also the stock is junk as you can see in the pick. Anyhow, I'm up for another get together if we can set one up.
