I'm not that far from Sonic...
Job I'm working right now made a counter offer that I accepted, looks like I am staying put for a while. Looking for a house in the Perryville/Northeast area with a garage. Gotta have a warm place to work on the jeeps in the winter

Some advice from someone who has been in your position.....

You are in a shelter right now, and living on the State's dime. You also have some serious charges filed against you (Maryland Judiciary Case Search tells all). Don't you think your time and money would be better spent trying to get out of the mess you are in, instead of dropping the little bit of money you are getting from the State into your jeep???

I was raised under the concept of family first. You are married, the man of the house and should be putting your wife first, everything else second.

Find a storage facility close by to where you are at, let me know via PM what the first months rent would be for your jeep, and I will personally come down and pay that first months rent. (If your legal problems escalate as to where you have to spend time in jail, I'll give you the $500 you were asking for it so you do not lose everything...)

You are on your own after that. This way you can turn your tags in, and maintain restoration insurance only on it. Will save you quite a bit of money. You can always register it historic when you get back on your feet. Then find a temp company, and get back to work. Save your money, get yourself a nice little apartment and then worry about your jeep.

I've been in situation like yours once, I know how it feels. You are the only one who can pull yourself out of this hole, no one else can do it for you....

My company is always hiring laborers, call 410-679-6200 and get the information on where to fax the resume. It's on the bus line, plenty of guys who could meet you at the stop and take you the rest of the way in. I'm trying to get Doc in there now for an operators position. I'm a shift supervisor there (Yea, I'm staying, they made me a offer I couldn't refuse), tell them Mike told you about the Utility positions. They will not hire you on the spot, but you will eventually end up getting a call...

Not trying to be an ***hole, but I am old school.... Reality SUCKS

very nicely said mike.

that is why I like the jeep community always very helpful and informative at the same time.

anya, I think you should take some of his advice / help on this one.
I don't think you're going to find better advice or help in this type of situation, that you are currently in.

^x2... Great advice and a offer to lend a helping hand.

It's not very often these days that you find that.

My Black Friday Score. Smittybilt G.E.A.R. on CL. $90 for both.

Now I just need my rig out of the shop to put them on.

I'll keep an eye out for some more. They have so many storage compartments. Now all my crap won't fly around when I'm on the trail.
