Okay so look what we found when we removed Bubba's head. Coolant pooled in cylinders 5 and 6 and all the pistons are pretty well burnt up.
What do you guys think? Trash?

Master rebuild kit. So the XJ was clean....except the engine? Did it have signs when you bought it?

It had a slight valve tap but when we went to see it, the guy had warmed the engine up before we got there. When cold it was really bad. Not doing a rebuild cause I have a nice 120K motor in the part out Jeep. More than likely gonna just swap the entire engine. I may rebuild Bubba's afterwards as a project.
