I had my T-stat go out earlier this year. My temp guage never indicated a gradual heating of the coolant. In fact, it shut down once and was steaming good and my temp guage indicated 210* Replaced sensor and t-stat and all was good.

Did you check out the wiring from the O2 sensors to the PCM??? Could be a broken wire....

After we went wheeling at the farm I noticed 3 wires hanging down from the cat. Upon further inspection I ripped all four wires from the cat to the pcm. I repaired all and cel went out and stayed out after I flashed it. Now its back on. So I need to check my repairs.
As far as my stat, I replaced fan clutch, water pump and thermostat less than 4 months ago. I would put my money on a bad sensor.

Could be a little crud in the tstat housing obstructing the sensor too...
Looks like they are at least easy fixes

Anybody here done a gear swap that can show me the ropes? Will be getting a rebuild kit for the front LPD30, replacing carrier, ring & pinion gear. Never done one before, would be nice if someone could look over my shoulder and point out all of the mistakes I'll be making
Planning on doing it around the end of the month, will have access to a heated garage and food. If you drink, let me know what type of beer/liquor, as I don't drink.
Gotta do something, got passed up by a moped on Rt40 this AM

that seems like a hell of a job. I have to say I have been planning on just paying to have it done....but i know the feeling, lmoa...just not by a moped...shoulda ran it over...
Not to mention it would probably take me forever to do that myself to get it right and i can't have the heep down for that long...

Was gonna use the D30 as a backup/practice for when I get my HP30. That way if I blow it up I am not losing anything
Keeping my 35 as a backup too

I can do it, not scared to try. Just want to make sure I get everything right. Hate going in blind on a job like that....

F*** ton of old ZJ's and few WJs...

two good waggy's that I really want to go and take the axles out for future use...
