That'd be cool. Not a big deal, of course.
Well I work 12 hours again tomorrow, and I only slept 2 hours last night, (and Boston just lost) so I'm outta here.

As far as I can tell. There aren't any posted signs. There are other areas around that are obvious private property. The fields that are back at this spot have brush taller than my jeep. They have not web maintained in sometime.

Just for clarification, Brakes work with out the engine on. Its a totally dedicated sealed hydraulic system. The only thing the engine helps with is supplying the vacuum to the booster to make the pedal easier to press. Sure it won't be easy to apply the brakes but it will work it just takes a concerted amount of effort.

Steering will be easier once rolling, my first car had power steering that never worked parking sucked but you'd never notice once moving.

As far as Rausch Creek, How does Dec 11th (Sunday) sound??? This gives everyone time to prep, and I can line up a recovery vehicle/trailer in case someone breaks to the point they cannot drive home. I am good for blue/blacks, for the first timers we can do greens and some mild blues so everyone can get a feel for the place. We can choose trails which have drive arounds for anyone not comfortable with the obstacle(s).
I will have my winch mounted by then (and hopefully will be re-geared and locked), it would be nice if we could get another vehicle with a winch to tag along...
I will be more than likely heading up the night before, if anyone wants to head up early then I'll check out Motel info, restaurants, ect.

Let's do it this way, how many want to go to Rausch, but don't have a membership???
It may be better to wait until after the first of the year....that way everyone can get a full year of wheeling up there... I'll have a car carrier by then anyway.
Besides, I had a BLAST in the snow up there in Jan. 8" of snow on the ground, 4* at 8AM

as far as the meet and greet is concerned, if it can wait til after the 1st of nov ( tuesday ) i can join in, just wont have the jeep with me. hate buses...but meh, its worth it. just not on a sunday....terrible bus service.

is there any way anyone could come out for a few minutes with a couple of tow straps tomorrow? i really need help getting her home, its only a mile, through a back roads neighborhood...a quick tow from A to B with me behind the wheel of Anya for steering and braking would be easy. maybe a 10 minute job.
