oh ok. i have a question that i dont have a picture of at the moment. in the engine bay in the back left; in between the washer fluid bottle and valve cover. is a little black box that is about 4 inches or so high and an 1-2" wide. it literally clicks. you can hold it and feel it basically go up and down. even my dad has no idea what it is.
the clicking is completely normal.

it's part of the emissions system. Purges fuel vapors from the charcoal canister if it gets too full / pressure gets too high. DO NOT TOUCH IT.

it helps extend the life of your piston rings... extra fuel vapor on shutoff gets trapped by the charcoal canister, instead of just sitting in the manifold/combustion chamber. when the canister gets full, the purge solenoid empties it out

how much? I've found miatas with under 75xxx miles for under 4k, and I'm looking for good gas mileage, and a manual.
