thats fine aslong as you are using it to hold the weatherstrip... It has little to no weatherproofing capabilities. If you are looking for something along those lines 3M makes a flexible seam sealer... That stuff is gold

This is where he sits most of the day until I get home, just patiently waiting for me. He's my buddy, I take him with me as much as I can.
