Without the sway bar you will have more body roll. It wouldn't cause the vehicle to handle funny. Alignment may be the big part of that.

I didn't use nut strips. I was able reach all of mine after I opened the hole behind the bumper some.

I think it's the same as mine. You would need the oil and the rear temp sensor.
