Well Team Maryland,

Off to Ohio for 5 days beginning tomorrow morning. I wish you all a merry weekend...be careful and wise.

Frosty...if next weekend is a go, I'm in!

Driving the wife's 96 there....new track bar, steering stabilizer and tires as of today....tracks much better. Did a basic tune too.

I wish you all well and will check in periodically from the road!

If you were doing that and leaving the flimsy sheet metal I would so NO!, but if you are making it out of 3/16", I think the idea is sound. I was thinking the bracket would be too long, but 3/16" should hold up!

My $.02

Whole bracket will be fabbed out of 3/16th...
Gotta compensate for the added thickness, can't see having 2 little tabs holding up beefier metal though

Thanks bud

My bastard pack should end up around 3" - I used Dakota springs for super flex. My current pattern is XJ main, cut Dakota main, Dakota 3rd, XJ 4th. I'm actually worried they won't be high enough, but we'll see - i have the Dakota 2nd on standby should i need to add it.

I'll rebuild, clean, and test your injectors for you. I have a source for full rebuild kits. I did some for Frosty, Jackbob, Veeb0rg, and myself. I got it down by now lol.

bumpstops won't help the rubbing while turning. You need a smaller backspacing for your wheels, or you need to adjust your steering stops. Is it on;y on one side? If so your steering or axle isn't centered
