I gotta hook up with you in the next few weeks, gotta get some tube notched and bent for Frosty's bumper
No problem, I have found it easier to hold the tube up to find the angle instead of using maths, so whatever you have built bring with, unless you dont mind a sloppy fit that you can fill with weld lol

Yeah, probably be the best option, well cheaper option anyways. Honestly, how hard is it to do a full SYE kit? I read about people doing it while it's installed on the Jeep so I don't imagine it's too difficult.

sure why not, I am feeling generous. For a good paint that lasts you are going to want clear over it just FYI. for decent paint for a non trail rig its going to run you around 200-300 bucks for the paint.

Frosty, you dont want sand, sand=silica and without a pressure fed respirator you will kill yourself. What are you trying to blast off? Plastic media is great for paint as it generates little heat so it doesn't warp panels, if its rust then I recommend al/ox *aluminum oxide* Just as good as sand and much safer

I'm blasting that bumper/tire carrier, I tried soda and it wasn't abrasive enough to get the surface rust off. Looks like it flash rusted and he painted over it. The soda works on the paint but not the rust

Well duh, I could have told you that :P soda is much softer then the rust hence why it won't take it off. I don't think I have seen a soda blasting setup that will do anything but. You have a syphon feed for the heavier media? If not it will be cheaper to use wire wheels and or my favorite flap disks...

Any military pilots/aviators/maintenance personnel on here want to take a stab at what that is? Or anyone I guess for that matter.
