For the yolk, what some people do is;

Jack the vehicle up
Put long breaker bar on nut (if looking at vehicle, the breaker bar should be going to the right, so when you lower the vehicle, the weight of the vehicle is the force on the breaker bar.

I just typed all of this ande realized the axle is out of the vehicle...

Yeah, mine is out of the vehicle. Any ideas? I'll have an impact wrench. How about a huge pipe wrench to hold the yoke?

you mean an FSJ? They're wider then an XJ, and leaf springs all around. You can make em work but you have to weld on the bits.

The Jeep Wagoneer was a leaf-under-axle Dana 44. When choosing one of these axles, it needs to be from a 1980-1981 or 1985-1992 Wagoneer. They are also low pinion and 6 lug, but they will work

Think I'll just stick to my plan of an 8.8 swap and beef up my HP D30

And I may be buying a red 2 door tomorrow. He has one guy looking at it and if he doesn't take it I'm next in line. Keepin my fingers crossed. I already told him if the guy doesn't take it I will.

This might just be my topless build
