Hi, I'm from Leeds, not more than 10 minutes away from Allwheels.

I just sold my Blazer ZR2 & bought a 99XJ with an RE4.5 and a bunch of other parts. It's scattered all over my garage at the moment.

It'll be a good rig when I'm done, but it'll be awhile. 4.56 gears, OBA, ARB's f&r, etc. Trying to get it ready for paint right now.

hate to bring back a dead thread, but i'm just wondering what sort of inspection troubles you maine guys have had. i've had 2 garages so far look at my jeep and tell me not to even bother. its lifted 4.5", the right way even, no shackle lifts, blocks, or spacers...

The guy in Manchester who did my gear/ARB install in the D30 put a sticker on it for me. No issues. Last Chance Garage. Joel, good guy, straight shooter and knows his stuff. He did everything in a day, and it didn't sit there at all, even though he was busy. I was impressed.

I'm from waterboro myself. I do my stickers myself, and I keep an inspection manual with me to remind the troopers what the real rules are when they pull me over. my 96 has a 4.5" rc with 31's 100% legal. 33's are illegal on xj's though. Btw I'm selling the 96 just bought a 99 sport couldnt pass it up but can't afford to have 2. if anyone's interested pm me.

IIRC you can only go two sizes up?
Seeing as most came originally with 215's, you couldnt legally run 31's.
Stupid law.
