Thats Jersey for yah. Judge should have some knowledge in automotives before ruling the case. Complete and udder disgrace this ungrateful thief can get $1.5 million on his own stupidity. Just another example of greed, stupidity, and the United States flawed legal system. In my opinion, the lawyer, the moron, and the judge should be stoned. Maybe that would provide a good example to the money hungry savages.

BTW, $10 says they were Democrats.

as for the moron suing its the i want everything and work for nothing bug

i bet he had 98395702 psi in the tires for it to do that also, unless there was a defect in the rim, in which it wouldnt be the shops fault it would be the fault of the manufacturer. at least sue the right people

What a baby. Dont tire places and mechanics make you sign something that says that the company isnt at fault if anything happens?

While it is bad to hear, and does anger me a little...I don't think its going to ruin the offroad community.

Although I do hope it will be overturned. It's awefully hard to prove that the shop knew of a defect. So I don't see how they could truly be liable. The shops insurance should be paying for this (thats what they are there for) so really the insurance should be supplying some better lawyers.

first of all im pretty sure beadlocks are not street legal in ct anyways and they are listed for offroad use only which usually means lower psi... plus i agree with who ever said it earlier the bead breaking has nothing todo with evb selling them unless over torqued but the manufacture is more at fault

I'd say incident happened 4 months after install and he self admitted to working on the wheel himself ...tough tiddies...who knows what happened to that wheel if it's beat on trail at 0-3 psi you can damage it and he had 4 months to do so.
