I would definitely be up for a meet and greet but im currently at a military academy so i wont be free till sometime March. I am more than willing to set it up than. And where i go wheeling isnt exactly legal either power lines and farms when they are out of season. I would like the take a trip south though to the Pine-barrings they have some great trails down there and some of my friends are pretty familiar with them so it be a good time.

Yeah unfortunatly I know what you mean about trails in our area. The bins is a pretty decent location for a meet. Its not that far from everywhere so I think that would be a good location to meet up.

Jersey is long & narrow, so I'm thinking the state should prolly be divided into North Jersey & South Jersey, with the Central Jersey folks free to take their pick. It looks like our area (Mays Landing/Vineland/Atco etc.) would be a good place for a M&G? We do have access to Wharton forest and as long as we stay on the trails the Rangers will be kept at bay.

The Picallilly bar/restaurant is a great place to meet for South Jersey. Plenty of parking & they love Jeepers. They host the wing-fest following the Wharton clean-up every October and they're just down the road from the Ranger station where the wheeling begins.

Still hoping someone can organize this - I wouldn't know where to begin ... or have I begun?

I think you began lol To me this sounds like a very good plan all we need is a date to get us rolling. I myself have no problem traveling to the pines for a day. I also know a bunch of guys in the Northern area who travel there normally so I don't think it would be a problem to many for a little over an hour and forty five minute drive. Heck Rausch Creek is 3 hours away and lots us go out there for a day trip too!! I think most of us would like a spring time trip say around late March early April.

Does this kind of thing seem to be on most people's radar?

I will more than likely be at my dorm in Northern NJ so I'm willing to lead a group down to the pines from Passaic/Morris/Bergen Counties area for those who would want to ride down together.

You don't need a lift, but I would strongly suggest some tow points: hitch receiver, hooks, D-rings etc.

My cherokee is stock but I've lightly wheeled it around West Creek, I'm personally in Manahawkin so I'd be down for a trail ride around here weather and other factors permitting.

You can try some local junk yards too because some XJs came with the brackets already. I got mine from Quadratec.
