Hey everyone, I have some bad news... I've decided to sell the jeep. I'm going off to school next year, potentially as far as blackburg, VA, and need a more practical car for driving distances. I don't have the money to buy a separate car as I'm paying for schooling by myself. Over the past year I put about $5000 into the jeep and I also have extra parts to go along with it. If anyone is interested, I'm selling it and taking offers, but I'd prefer a trade for an older BMW or diesel car. You guys know these jeeps the best and I know someone on this forum would appreciate it the most. NewJerseyXJ609 can tell you it's not a POS. Here's a link to my ad if anyone is interested:

I'ma break it to you gently Joe ... It's not worth 7k no matter what you put into it.
Just to give you an idea, I paid 7k for a 2002 V8 Durango in amazingly MINT condition, under 100k miles, zero rust, leather, flawless paint and power everything. Stock. Did I mention V8? At a (non-Dodge) dealership. Private seller would have been less.
Good luck with sale - and I mean that sincerely.
Nice Jeep too ... I'd drive it.

Have to estimate high on Craigslist to defeat the low ballers. My real estimate is about $5000 and it definitely is a sweet rig. I hate to see it go

Well while my Jeep is down it was time to do something so I could give my mom her car back and this is what I picked up
It's a 97 with 145000 and I paid 2600 for it well under kbb value
As you can see man's best friend is ready for a ride already
With the purchase of this I have the approval from my wife to go better with the jeep which is fantastic as long as I can get it running
We took it to a mechanic not too long ago and he got it running but tells me there's a short somewhere and that it over heated on him so I have some issues to deal with but I'll get it

As you guys know, I'm selling my jeep. If anyone is interested or knows someone who is, please pm me. I'm open to all offers. Can't loose too much money, but I'm negotiable. Also open to all trades as long as it gets decent gas mileage and runs good or ill take partial trades too. Need a car for college.

Asking price on Craigslist is obviously high, so shoot me a realistic offer or offer a trade. Thanks

I got my Jeep running turns out I needed a couple new sensors, a new battery ground cable, and to fix the timing . It was almost 180° off

Anyone enjoy putting on lift kits in or near the Sussex county area? I would love to do it myself but I have absolutely no time now and am dying to get this little lift on I got brand new from a friend. It's a 2 inch spacer up front and AAL with shocks Would anyone want to put it in for me and what price ?
