Default Hello from newbie and a couple questions

Hello all,
I just bought my first jeep. It's a 2000 Cherokee sport- thus ending my run of Isuzus (2 Troopers and a Rodeo). I'm not a big off roader (yet) but I live on 4 wooded acres and my driveway is 350' of 45 degree incline so always need 4wd. Here's a pic of my Cherokee. I'd love to hear what you think are good conservative mods. Here are a couple questions- pardon me if they are obvious:

1) I just got a nice set of alloy wheels from an 06' wrangler (15x8) and am wondering about what size tires I can use without any current lift or having to remove fender flares etc. I'm thinking 235/75x15???

1) My oil pressure gauge shows a constant 80psi (max). Do you think the sending unit needs replacement? If so, where is it located?

2) When the engine is idling or decelerating, I hear a high pitched whistle from the engine compartment. It sounds like a vacuum leak. Where are some likely places that might occur?

3) Where is a good place to mount a pair of fog/running lights on the sport? Should I scrap the plastic bumper shell?

4) With 120k miles, what mechanical things should I be on the lookout for? 4WD currently works and I am doing a diff and transfer service this week.

Thanks and I look forward to getting to know you.

Andy

Where are you located I have a bumper from my 01 limited that has fog lights and tow hooks if your interested pm me back. from what I have seen 3in lifts are about the most inexpensive lift to get. unless you just start collecting parts from here and there you can come up with a decent lift for not a bunch of money. Oil sending unit most likely bad or a bad ground somewhere. Nice looking jeep by the way. Should be able to fit 30s stock and with 3in of lift 31-32 but all depends on if you plan to go hit the trails hard then you might want to stay in the 30-31 area
