Guess the North East blows when it comes to wheeling spots. I would love to move out west like Washington state or something just for the thrills but wife dosint wanna do it.

Yeah CT sucks for wheeling. As of right now there is nothing legal. There used to be a park about 40 minutes away from me called Nepaug. They closed it in recent years due to people littering and just generally abusing it. The reason wheeling is frowned upon in CT isn't neccessarily from people like us, but those who dump trash, or teenagers who have huge parties in the woods and destroy property.

Although a lot of wheelers are just there to take in the scenery and not go off course, its hard to separate them from the few who do cause damage. The state just didn't want to put up with it anymore. This also makes it very hard to try and persuade them to open more trails in the future, since its easier to just close everything off rather than spend money and try to regulate it.
