I know its a long shoot but want to see if anyone had a 35x12.50r15 km2 they want to sell only need one. bc I am going to be buying new one in a couple mouths. I thoug it would be worth a shoot so the jeep did not have to sit and want to drive it lol
It took me this long to find this thread. I'm will, i bought a 1997 xj last summer and lifted it in the fall. Haven't had the chance to do any wheeling yet. I'm a uconn student living off campus at home with the parents. Still haven't gotten my wheels and tires on it yet so it looks ridiculous. Its a 4.5 RC x-series kit (regret going so cheap now) but its my first project so mistakes are a given.
I did my best to start a Uconn xj club, but the icy roads this winter claimed two of the three other jeeps i found. That ended that
Anyways, if anyone's nearby and wants to meet at some point (maybe after we stop getting winter storms) id be up for it. Question for you guys though, have you gotten any heat from our cops for your tires sticking out? That's whats been stopping me from buying my tires. I want 33s

You'll be fine, the cops haven't bothered me at all. I haven't heard of anyone getting crap about it either. I'm swapping out my 33's on 15 inch wheels for 35s on 16s in a couple weeks, I'll likely have my tires up for sale if you're interested. Lots of tread left, maybe 6-8k on them.
Hey everybody, so I came across some tube steel and I would like to weld a bumper. Something very basic but I dont have a welder. Is there anybody around central CT (Bristol< Southington, Harford) that would be willing to help show me the ropes? I can pay in beer, pizza and bbq.
