Joe from Torrington. Lots of work to do before il be joining yall on the trails. anyone else from the NWCT area? any SUPER mild trails in the area that a bone stock XJ could handle. My 3 y.o is BEGGING me to "take him on the rocks and dirt" lol

 

I'm in Canaan, and no there aren't any trails in ct unless you have a friend with land

 

It depends where you are. Out here there's a couple that are public roads that turn to a dirt road, them turn to a trail.

 

There's nepaug state park out that way. Just stay on the trails and out of the power lines and you'll be fine from what I've seen. If I remember right its on rt 202... maybe rt 44

 

I agree on Nepaug State park. I went in the late fall with a stock 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport and my 5 year old. Well marked trails with easy to medium terrain. We stayed on the main trail and followed the legs. A lot of fun. The day I was there 2 dirt bikes and 3 jeeps. About 2 hours and able to show different trees, a pond and such.
