Pardon my assumption, I meant MJ owner. Same difference, haha. And I do admire the Einstein quote. I'm going to college in the fall and majoring in chemistry, so I'm pretty into all those scientists. Chemistry and physics are my most favorite subjects. Yeah, call me a nerd if you want :P

In the industrial areas you could easily find a job probably. I say keep looking to see what they have, contact a few people from the area, and see how it goes from there. Maybe put a thread in the same area as this but mention Pittsburg. We're basically 6 hours away from there, but you were close enough, haha. If you want something closer to us, check out the Lehigh Valley/Allentown craigslist. We're one of the little blurbs in the Lehigh Valley. Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and some other cities are around us. People usually commute to those and live in our area. You can also have a longer commute to Northern Jersey and possibly New York, but those are at least an hour away. If you decide on coming closer to us, we'll be here ready for another XJ owner to join the group. Good luck!
Good to hear. Im thinking I will love it. Rain. MJ. Work. Women. What more does one need?

Forgot one STEELERS GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes I will hit you guys up when I move. Thinking more like monroeville or plum tho.

I think Monroeville and Plum are closer to us than Pittsburg by a little bit, not too sure though. I'm not into football, but I'll assume their games are pretty good. We have some big Steelers fans around here. Most of the fans are Eagles fans cuz Philly is pretty close to us. Fill in that MJ part with XJ and that's all I have, haha. It rained last night, I work on friday, I have a girlfriend, and I have my XJ. The difference between our nerdiness and other nerds is that we actually go out of the house and get a little dirty, haha. You can have a full conversation with a nerd about a jeep, but I guarantee they never got their hands dirty working on it or wheeling with it!

sorry about that, I should have been a little clearer with my explanation. Every year they put up a deal on the frequent rider pass, not sure on the price, I wanna say 300ish, but its really a good deal, cuz if you go once a month for the year it more than pays for itself.

Mines pretty decent. I wonder what I could sell it for out there. People pay ridiculous prices for cars here. My last jeep went for 200$ more than I expected.

If the mileage isnt bad and it runs good you could prob. ask 4000, for it out here. Not saying people arnt gonna try to talk you down, but this is the rust belt, to find something old, rare, and pretty rust free is not common so people jump on em

170k miles. Both axles, frame, underbelly are all scuff free. She was a mall crawler lol. The only rust is on the exhaust near the downpipe. Shes been a desert rat her whole life. I would crap bricks if I could get 3500 or more.

We shall see what happens in coming months. Might be out there by halloween. Hope I get a job soon (4th job) so I can actually get hours.

I would easily give you 4 grand for that MJ. If I ever got 4 grand, haha. I'm actually looking to find a nice 99-02 mercury cougar with the v6 and 5 speed for around 3 grand. Good gas, great fun, and they sound badass with an exhaust. But of course I'll still keep my good ol' XJ. Then I'll really be able to do some work on it. Some stuff I just can't do since it's my DD

That thing would be the perfect match for my XJ too since both are an 89. Damn low-wage jobs

Thats great. Ill bring it out there and sell it, if it comes to that. All I need is gas for the 2000 mile trip. Thats something like 500$ or less, given I get at least 15mpg freeway.
I have a plan.

that does have a newerr front end, bumper and probably lots more expensive junk on it. Although... As you guys mentioned. It is the rust belt up there.

I dreamt of owning one of those as well. A guy down the street had one modified, and it sounded nice.
