Default Anyone from the slate belt in PA?

I see a few XJ's around here, but not many. I'm just wondering if there are any guys on here that are in my area. I would like to set up a meet somewhere and maybe find some place to wheel. So far I only know 2 other XJ owners that actually mod them and drive them daily. The other guys I haven't talked to yet but I see around from time to time. I think my area has potential for a good club to arise but I don't really have a way to make it spread.

I'm smack in the center (Plainfield). I'm all for a meet and greet too. The Heep is sitting stock now (lift is on it's way) but that never stopped me from a good wheeling trip!

DeadCell, feel free to come to my house today. I'm havin a garage sale over on the corner of engler and kesslersville. I may not be out since my jeep is givin me a nice problem with the antenna motor, but if you see it parked out by the sale, I'm most likely sittin down by it. I've had the sale all weekend, not many buyers tho. I guess the community sale just isn't very popular.

bigbuk, I'll have to make up a meet sometime this summer. Most likely in plainfield at my house, wind gap in a parking lot, or in pen argyl somewhere.

So I have a serious question. Is there a custom exhaust shop somewhere around us? I need to get a 2.5 inch tailpipe bent to complete my exhaust, but I have no idea where to go to find one. It can't be bent like the stock tailpipe because I have a different style muffler on than stock. Do you guys know of anywhere to go?

If I can remember right, there was an exhaust shop in Bangor a few years back, I'm not sure if they're around still. If they're not I think there's one or two in Easton. I don't know of names though.

Alright, thanks. I'll have to keep lookin around then. I would do it myself, but it would just kink the pipe if I tried. I don't have anything round to bend it with.

Just for kicks, why not try Midas in Wind Gap? If they can't do it they may be able to direct you to someone who can.

I walked in there a few months ago, before I even got my new muffler. They weren't much help really. I asked the guys at advance and napa, and they both knew of nobody. I'm surprised there aren't any exhaust guys close to here. With all the sprint racers and truck lovers around I thought there would be at least somethin. All those trucks that hang out at the barn on sullivan trail had to get their exhaust pipe bent somewhere. By the way, I think I saw your jeep today on 191. I was at a buddy's house close to where 191 merges with sullivan trail. Around 7:30 I think. Do you have HID lights and the back end jacked up a little?

Yessir. I was driving and thought it was you but realized too late it really was. I ended up only right down the road at the bike path for a run. I was kicking myself for not noticing sooner. Your Jeep is unmistakable, there's nothing like it.

It's crazy about the exhaust though. I graduated with a lot of the guys that hang out at The Pit. Next time I run into one of them I'll have to ask about who did their pipes.

check the allentown yellowpages. It might be a little bit of a ride, but there has to be somebody who does custom exhaust. Or do like I did and just put a turndown after the muffler, but you gotta know someone for emissions then lol

Lift kit came in the mail and will be going on tomorrow! Hell, I don't even care if it rains, that darn thing is getting put on!

So...a meet is not in the cards for me tomorrow. Any other day though, should be doable.

bigbuk, I've googled all over, most places are in allentown or bethlehem unfortunately. I just don't know if a shop is good or if they would screw me over. If I have to go out there I'll do a lot more research. If you guys come across anything close, please let me know. I want to plan a meet soon, but I just started at my new job so I gotta get my schedule straight. A far as my jeep being unmistakable, yours stands out pretty good too DeadCell. haha. I'd like to check out that lift soon too. I got a long way till I'll have the cash for my lift *sadface*
