Shes not the fastest but pulls like a diesel. In short, everyones Xj here is different in one way or another and built based on need.

Morning. Just cause it's saturday doesn't mean i'll have time to fix something on the Jeep. i'm gonna try to get to it while i'm at work, but i dont know if i'll be able to.

still has the misfire on cyl 1. ruled out plugs and wires last night. today i'll hopefully be checking cap, rotor and if i have to injector. if that doesn't work i'll do a compression test.

started a few days after replacing rotor, cap, plugs and wires. It ran like new for about 4 days and then it randomly started one night. now it only does it when the engine is hot though. it runs great when the engine is cold.

also the spark plug was very clean and didn't smell like fuel, so i'm kind of leaning toward injector.

Old parts still around ? sounds like plug issue ....

Could be a defective plug or the injector is heat soaked.

Heat soak usually no 3 according to search

I already swapped plugs around and the problem stays on cyl 1.

It can happen to any injector though.

Problem might be in the cam sensor inside the distributor. sfcherokeeguy had his go out where two cylinders weren't firing properly.
