I know tie rods are just steering. I just thought that the ZJ had the same D30 as the XJ's. If that was the case, I was thinking I may as well get the one with beefier tie rods. Thanks for all the info though. I'll grab an abs one from an XJ.

Morning all its been a long morning almost ran over a toyota in the wj but due to excellent handling and great judgement on my part was able to whip around that idiot like a NASCAR driver scared gf half outta her pants but. Now she trust my driving 
should have waxed that thing now that I reflect back could have gotten a day off plus a insurance check for a new one
