You can weld the frame, but it should be done by a skilled welder. It's my understanding that you have to drill at the ends of each crack to keep it from continuing to crack, then weld in between the two drill holes, but leave the holes open. Plus, you need something better than the little ****ty harbor freight welders that I have.

Sup guys i think im takeing the jeep down to the hump on saturday morning. Anyone know of any areas to go check out? Mabye north possible front fort Lauderdale?

Saturday I got a veterans fishing tournament at Quiet Waters Park in Pompano. W of Ft Lauderdale there's a place Freegdr and 88 go wheeling at.

How's it feel, acceleration wise now? Probably a lot better than the 4.10's did.

Nice! I used to love that place. Rode my mountain bike there a couple times a week back in highschool.

Acceleration is nice, 1st gear isn't short like the 4.0 and 4.10s...
But I'm happy to have 5th gear back, around 52-54 mph and transmission is pushing to get shifted...but I didn't want to go over that due to overheating gears I'll wait till after my first 500 miles to push that 5th gear...
