Thinking later this fall when the weather cools down, we should all try to have a meet & bbq or bbq and ride. Either way, get together and have a good time like old times.

Nice...heavy duty parts? Or just good usable parts to make a good case...

His case exploded and I had a spare 231. I had to use his tailcone, planetary and Speedo gear (electronic) and the pump and case along with other internals from mine. So basically take the best of both and combine them. Only thing is the spare case I had was a 4cyl 231 and his is a 4.0L. Sad part was the shift forks and dog ring inside the 4cyl 231 were beefier units. You would think it was the other way around.
