Will do. I just scored a Mj D44 w/traclock and 4.10's. My one D44 with 3.55's is going in his Eliminator.

For starters, stay off CL and Flea Bay. That stuff once on there is either broken junk or way overpriced.
Secondly, social networking is your best friend. I travel a lot and talk to people in travels. Sometimes you get "Hey my friend or neighbor has xxxx in his barn or garage if ya want to look at it." That usually results in either a find or another lead to a find.

As for Stuart, had a friend tell me about his neighbor had a beige/yellow Mj good for parts only there. If that's it, yes it has a D35 but its a 4.0 5spd.

Still can't understand why you want a D44 over the AMC20. Your axle is way stronger not to mention you don't have anywhere near enough power to break that thing.
But tell ya what, I'll look for another one and let ya know.

BTW, don't listen to the "high-ballers" on CC. The AMC 20 is as tough as it gets without going to a D60. Which I come across all the time. Hell, I can get a set of FSJ D44/D60 axles right now from my neighbor if I wanted. The weakest D44 or AMC20 I have ever seen was the D44 military Cj or the Cj AMC20. And that was due to the two piece shaft. Upgrade those shafts and they were great. Like I said a while back, what you have now is the toughest axle they make and way harder to find than the D44. So take care of it.
