Well. I got to play for awhile.
Zero'ed my 30.06 for 100 yds., but now my right shoulder feels like someone beat on it with a VW Beetle. That critters recoil feels like a rhino charge. My buddy's .308 felt like a creampuff by comparison.

I had a Marlin 30.06 and 30.30, loved both. What brand are you using to have that recoil? As for .308, try firing the Laupa .308s outta an M24A3. That's got a little recoil for ya.

Got back from detroit last night at midnight. Got to spend the flight back sitting next to a female heroin addict heading down here for detox. I wish that upon none of you. She was clearly going through withdrawls.

Aside from that...happy to be back in florida and all the front end parts for my cherokee will be here today ^_^

You'd be surprised at the amount of haters coming out of the woodwork once a Chevy swap is mentioned. Newsflash... AMC/Jeep used Chevy motors from the factory. Also a majority of Remix and Early H.O. sensors are Chevy parts. (MAP/IAT,Knock Sensor to name a few)

Yeah I knew a little about jeep using some of Chevys designs...
But it would be cool to see a 350 in one and actually see it...
