Good morning. What's up with em?

Well the comanche is running great...
Now the cherokee I was driving through heavy rain yesterday and my radio wasn't working(usually a quick tap on it and it starts working) but I did the tap and suddenly my radio is out, my instrument panel(gauges) don't work at all, and dome lights don't work....

Was glancing through some forums for this problem...
But no true answer I did check the fuses related to panel, radio and they all play out fine....(no blown fuses)
So I gota go deep into it now...
I'll get more work done on the weekend when/if the weather permits

My 98 did something similar when going over some train tracks. Everything went out. Restarted it and it came back on - I had an aftermarket headunit too.

I bet it has something to do with the wiring harness in the headunit. Bad ground or something.

Pull style headlight switch? If so, mine did the same thing when the switch was on it's way out.

Yeah I did a little bit of diagnosing yesterday but no go....
I just didn't want to be stuck in a hot/humid truck while it's pouring down raining

Ok, I misread. If gauges are not working or radio, there is either a bad ground or broken power wire.
