Good Evening and Happy New Year.

For a while now I have been experiencing many problems in the rear of my 1997 Jeep Chreokee Sport. My rear defroster, rear wiper/washer, power lock for the hatch, and cargo lights when the hatch is open do not at any time work.

I bought this jeep back in the summer and at the time of purchase the back hatch would not even open. I had to slip my hand down between the console panel and the rear glass and manually lift the lever tget the hatch open. I then readjusted the bar on the handle to get it to opperate properly. The girl I bought the jeep off of said her dad had just installed new hatch shocks and I am thinking that for some unknown reason he removed the back panel and left something unplugged or dammaged the wireing in someway.

Any suggestions?
