its on the border of legal and illegal depends on who you talk to.
Rich Mountain used to be the spot in Ellijay but it got closed down for offroaders.
Power line road are ride at your own risk.

I dont recommend anyone go to lucas....
had quite a few bad experiences out there involving myself as well as buddies having bad times.....
The people that live along there are crazy as hell.... I mean its tresspassing to ride there, but usually the cops dont care.... just gotta watch out for the crazy rednecks... I used to go out there and ride in hs but its gotten pretty crazy here lately from what Im hearing.
