So i need to fix some rust on my driver side rocker and was hoping someone could help me. I have never done any body work before.I am a broke post college kid, so I could buy you lunch and beer (if you drink) of course the parts and possibly some money. so any help would be appreciated.

 

Where exactly are you located? I've done a bit of body work but never dealt with rust.

 

How much rust are we talking about? Any pics of the rocker? I've worked with minor rust but nothing too bad. I can help in any way possible

 

lol speaking of rust, pulled my carpet and found a big *** hole. a wire wheel, some sand paper, bondo, and 4 hours later, its fixed

 

Its very minor. About the size of a quarter. I really appreciate the quick responses and being willing to help a fellow jeeper out. I am located in Chattanooga but pretty much east ridge, right off germantown rd.

Barry, let me know if you still want the rockers off the white XJ. If you are only talking about a small area, you should cut what you need off mine and section it in. Less work than replacing a whole rocker.

 

we have alot of xjs around cleveland and lot trails to hit fun stuff

 

That sounds like fun. Last time I went, we ended up coming out in someone's back yard. Kids looked at us like we were from Pluto.
